About the Owner

Hello! My name is Michael, and I am the owner

of Books & More in Missouri City, TX.

Books & More is a family owned and operated bookstore in The Township Square, located next to Brandani's and Rilion Grace.

We have officially been open since September 25th, 2025.

Prior to opening, I was an elementary school teacher for 8+ years in Fort Bend ISD. I have a love for teaching as well as a love for books and community, so I wanted to bring the classroom to the community, which is why I started Books & More.

I have a BA in Communications and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Having a background in education, Books & More will also offer an array of classes - from tutoring for school aged children to financial classes for adults.

A little more about me...I have a love for dogs! I have two dogs - Max and Panda. Max is a Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix and Panda is our family Bulldog, or as we like to call him "security"! In my down time I like to walk my two dogs and hang out with my family. You will more than likely see my family and possibly my dogs around at the bookstore quite often.

At Books and More, we believe in the power of stories. Our bookstore is a haven for book lovers, offering a wide selection of genres and titles that cater to every reader's taste.
